This is really funny light hearted book. I loved Casey. He is smart, funny, whole lot of sass packed into one tiny Fae. He is also very brave. I liked how he is not afraid to be himself.
Randal is grumpy, flip flop loving, and really hates he got this shoe store. He takes out a lot of his frustrations on Casey. But Casey is persistent.
This is the kind of story you pick up when you just want a light read that will make you smile. I also love stories that show true love can conquer all and this one does.

This is a short, sexy story with paranormal, magical elements that add a lot of spice to the story. It also reminded me that people can't be judged by their outward appearance because most wear “masks” of some sort for protection. If you like sexy young men, second chances, hot, sensual encounters, and magic, you may enjoy 'On Your Sole'. Thanks, Caitlin, for the entertaining diversion.

I really liked this story. While it is a novelette, Ricci has written it in such a way that it’s the perfect length for the story told. Would I like more? Absolutely. I loved Casey and would enjoy seeing how things progress between him and Randal. But as On Your Sole isn’t meant to tell their whole story, but rather the “How I met your father…” part of their story, it’s great. Do things progress quickly? Yes, because they have to, especially if there’s any hope of some skin-on-skin action.
