In a series, it’s always important for the books to flow seamlessly from one story to the next and this author does it beautifully. She is able to pick up where she left off in the last book. The dialog, scenes, and storylines fit perfectly together, like pieces of a puzzle. Then there are these little gems with this story: the BSDM and their shared enjoyment of Steve’s fetish, which, by the way, is very hot. I love this series.

I enjoyed the heck out of this story. Steve and Allistair are amazing together. Their kinks match up perfectly but they have so much going for them other than just kinky sex. Also, getting to see the guys from previous book was nice and seeing how they’re doing. I’m loving this series and I hope it continues for many more books. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

One of the things that makes Negotiating Love different from the previous four books in this series is that part of the storyline runs concurrent to that of the previous book, Held Hostage. It is interesting seeing part of the hostage situation from the previous book play out through Steve’s eyes rather than Cole’s. This fifth novel also ups the ante with the BDSM play as well. Despite the fact that it went a little farther into the BDSM than I usually care for, the addition of Steve and Allistair’s fetish balanced it out for me, giving me an exciting and sexy read.

Steve and Allistair together are a very kinky couple, and the sex is hot. It’s a great and easy read. I would recommend this book to anyone wanting an interesting power dynamic between two men who really can’t get enough of each other.

I found Allistair and Steve’s story to be a sweet and engaging read. Allistair may have tons of money but it can’t buy him the one thing that he truly wants: love. When Steve enters his life Allistair finds that love is not bought, it is earned. Steve is the one man who does not want anything to do with Allistair’s money, all he wants is Allistair. I enjoyed watching their relationship take shape. This story encompasses not only Allistair and Steve’s relationship but we also get to see into the rest of their lives and even some of their friend’s lives. I enjoyed meeting Cole and would love to have his story told.
