To understand this story you must read Volatile first... and you should because Volatile is an wonderful written delicate and emotional story... Absolute loved Dante's pov. His view made it somewhat better to handle... Beautiful written short story, a real completion to Volatile. Somewhat more described interactions... their lovemaking... so pure, so beautiful. Emotional, sincere and heartbreaking. Highly recommend.

All I’m going to say is that when I turned the last page of the story, to find out the other 16% of the book was a teaser for one of the previous books, I growled out-loud. I wanted more! For example, I wanted to know what the public’s reaction was the next day. Having been accused by more than one reviewer of doing the same thing with a story I recently published myself, I know that to Ms. Winter, it probably felt done, so I’m not saying it had to have more…just that I loved the characters enough that I didn’t want it to end!

I highly recommend this one, but insist you read the other books first! You will thank me.

I was so hoping for this story. When Dante and Chris split through a total misunderstanding in the previous book, it was so obvious that neither wanted the relationship to end... I highly recommend this one, but insist you read the other books first! You will thank me.

Getting to read Dante’s side here in Magnetic was an excellent complement to Volatile... the best part of Magnetic for me was the reunion with Chris. Seeing this from Dante’s point of view just made it shine for me all over again, and reminded me of how much I loved that part of Volatile when I read it. A huge tip of the hat to the author for giving us readers Dante’s take on things, for me Magnetic was a 4.5-star read.

Magnetic is a follow up, but more of a companion piece to the first book in the Treacherous Chemistry series, Volatile. This short story is told from Dante’s point of view and really is meant to be read after that first book. If you read Volatile this is the perfect complement to pull Chris and Dante’s relationship together. Winter has a great style and it’s always interesting to get an alternate point of view and it was great to see Chris and Dante once again.

I am a bit shocked with how well written it is... This one is all about the dialogue and the sex scene is pretty verbal in a way Volatile isn’t... Magnetic has a different charm than Volatile but they are both equally enjoyable. I really enjoyed this short and would recommend it as a must-read for anyone who enjoyed Volatile as much as I did.
