Review by Susan
Candy Magic by M.C. Roth is the most organic harem story I think I’ve ever read. Crean moves away from his family in search of a new start and moves in with his brother and his three roommates. The author did a good job of distinguishing the different characteristics of Connor the werewolf, Nate the vampire, and Tristan the fairie. Part of what made the connection among the three and Crean seem natural was Crean had to lose his false beliefs about the three paranormals, all while trying to keep his own magic abilities hidden from everyone. I also liked the pacing of the creation of the harem. I honestly did not expect to like the book as much as I did. I would certainly read another book by M.C. Roth. I received a free ARC of the book from Totally Entwined Group and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
