His Halloween by S.J. Coles was a great start to my favorite holiday, Halloween. It was a little spooky, but kept on giving the reader reasons not to believe. Lukas was a good mix of the practical and the dreamer. After all he did move to Littleton, England from Poland to paint the landscape after seeing it in another artist’s work. He is determined to live the life he wants and sees relationships as a distraction. The other main character, Ely, is introduced right before Halloween and is ghost hunting with Lukas as his guide. I enjoyed the whole issue of who believes what and when. The resolution is sweet and a nice cap to an endearing tale. I received a free advance reader’s copy of His Halloween from Totally Entwined Group and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
