  Review by Literary Nymphs

H.C. Brown has created an enjoyable, exceptionally impressive saga. The treatment of the slaves is heartbreaking but the unconditional love between Raz and Eton is heartwarming. I look forward to the next episode in this series.

Review by Mrs Condit Reads Books

This is a plot driven story that takes place in a universe where shifters, werewolves, and many other creatures exist in different realms linked by Gateways. The characters are distinct, each with their own unique personality. With a smooth plot flow, and an informative backstory, you get pulled into another world that is almost a vivid as our own. The author’s writing style is blunt, original, and pulls no punches. HC Brown gives us a look into the darker side of sex and slavery, and this story is DEFINITELY not for the faint of heart, because both the MCs and many of the secondary characters are subjected to being whipped, tortured, prostituted, and forced to endure many other atrocities. The story has a HEA ending, but you do get a hint that there may be another book in the future. If you want a story that will take you for a walk on the wild side, and you’re not afraid of the dark corners of sex, then you will want to give this book a try.

  Review by You Gotta Read

I enjoyed my visit to the world of the Tull pride. Eton and Raz pulled me into their story right from the start. We get to see how strong Eton truly is. He may not seem like a formidable foe but many men find out just what a threat he can be when it is too late. Raz is a great leader and must find a way to rescue Eton and not begin a full-fledged war between the Prides and the Lycaon. The two make a wonderful couple both relying on the love of the other one to keep them strong throughout their ordeal. The love that the two have is strong and it shines brightly. This is an intense read at times. Eton suffers through so much as a slave. He endures his pain and suffering with the help of his love for Raz.

Not only do we get to watch Eton and Raz’s relationship take shape but we also get to meet many other great characters that have much to say. I hope that we get to come back to this world to hear their stories.
