Pride Publishing Christmas Cocktails!

Christmas is almost here and we’ve got some tasty Christmas drink recipes to go with your delicious festive reads! Inspired by your favourite Pride Publishing titles, they’re almost as satisfying as the stories they’re based on! Enjoy!

 

Christmas of White

In Christmas of White, Owen and Blaise are given a second chance at love after a year apart when Blaise returns to Montana for the holidays - thanks to a donkey, Owen’s scheming best friend and a lot of snow, that is. If you also love white Christmases, then try this book-inspired cocktail – it only takes five minutes to make! 

 

Ingredients

1 oz heavy cream

1 oz vodka

1 oz peppermint schnapps

1 oz white creme de cacao

1 cup ice cubes

 

Recipe

Pour the heavy cream, vodka, schnapps, and white creme de cacao into a cocktail shaker over ice. Cover, and shake until the outside of the shaker has frosted. Strain into a chilled glass, and garnish with a mini candy cane to serve. Enjoy!

A Vampire for Christmas

Christmas doesn’t have to be all elves and fairies atop the tree, sometimes Christmas is about something a little darker… When Kyle accidently finds out his hot neighbour Dieter is actually a vampire, it doesn’t deter him from his aim of making the tall, dark and handsome superhuman his. If you love vamps as much as you love the festive season, then this deliciously dark cocktail is right up your alley.

 

Ingredients

2 oz Vodka

1 oz Coffee Liqueur (Kahlua)

2 dashes Lemon Juice

 

Recipe

Stir vodka, coffee liqueur and lemon juice with ice in a mixing glass, then strain into a glass full of ice. The result is fangtastic!

A Christmas Carol

Ingredients

1 ½ oz apple rum

3 oz apple cider

1 tablespoon of maple syrup

Cinnamon

 

Recipe

Combine all the ingredients in a mug, stir and place in the microwave for two minutes. When it’s done sprinkle cinnamon on top, and finish with a cinnamon stick garnish. Tasty!

The Perfect Gift

Recipe

2 oz. Ready-mixed Cosmopolitan

1 oz. peppermint schnapps

Sugar free cranberry juice

 

Ingredients

Combine all ingredients in a glass and stir – it’s just that easy!
