There were so many things I loved about this book. First, even though Parker fell fast and furious for young Slade, I never felt as if the romance was rushed or insta-loved. Ms. Knight wrote with such emotion that the budding relationship blossomed into a beautiful love affair. Her attention to detail always makes this reader come back for more. The scenes on the strip are so well written and described that I can literally visualise myself being there with Parker and Slade. Then there is the character development and emotions that jump right off the pages and really endear the reader to the characters.
If you are a fan of sexy men in uniforms, drama, suspense, insta-love and some pretty smexy romance then this is a must read series for you.

This book had an excellent story that actually makes you believe that there are good people who you can truly trust. It was full of crime, mystery and of course romance. There was plenty of anticipation towards the end to find out the outcome, it kept me interested throughout, along with a few twists you won't expect.

I really liked this story, the characters and situations. I especially liked how she incorporated the secondary characters into this story. Lonnie and his friend Valeena were not only best friends, they were family, loving and looking out for each other.
She also portrayed the cops and agents as actual human being with hearts. These aren’t cynical or jaded LEOs and federal agents but men who were just as affected by the violence that surrounds the sex workers. These men have all sowed their feelings to enter into each situation and the result is really nice. This series is a really nice read and one that I will definitely continue.
