I absolutely adored this book. The story itself has a gentle touch to it as well as the thrill to want Robin to succeed. It’s kind of like the same rush you get when you watch your team on TV or watch a fictional team win in a movie. I also thoroughly enjoyed the writing style used by the authors, it was so easy to read and follow that it felt like I devoured all 166 pages all too quickly.

Quinn and Robin are drawn so well.  They have communication issues that they eventually work through. They don’t always do the right thing.  But for the most part, they have each other’s best interest at heart.  And when they finally get together, wow do they spark off the page.  Their chemistry is just palpable. Tennis itself was practically another character in this book, and I really enjoyed the way Chase and Rhodes brought in that aspect.  We got to see the rigors of travelling and competing, and the toll that can take on an athlete. I enjoyed this book from beginning to end. I was drawn into the story from word one, and didn’t put it down until I was finished.

This story felt complete and well done. It encompassed more than just a love story, it incorporated the sport flawlessly into the tale. I really recommend this story to anyone who is looking for a relatively low angst, but still eventful romance. It was well done and will be added to my comfort read pile to be enjoyed many more times.

The relationship between Quinn and Robin was heated, and nicely creative since Quinn is in a wheelchair half of the time. I love this series. Looking forward to whatever theses authors throw at us next.
