I feel the story is solid and Lavinia's writing had me so hooked I read this in one sitting. Even though this is technically a series book, the timeline is the same as in Luke's Surprise and I have to say that it was refreshing to read a series that way. One thing that I would personally like to praise Ms. Lewis on is that, unlike several authors that are currently writing shifter books in this genre, there was nothing weak about Cody, who was the physically smaller mate...This was an excellent book and I am so looking forward to Kelan's book next!
